Solution Focused Conversations

This kind of conversation allows people to focus on the solutions and all the possibilities rather than the problems, which often leads to frustration, stress, and blaming one another for the things that didn't work. Instead, SFC changes the game and allows collaboration, strategic and critical thinking, to look for positive outcomes and problem solving.

This workshop will allow you to:

Acknowledge the reality and difficulties with a solution or preferred future in mind, describe successful actions and attitudes, and face challenges with optimism and hope, focusing on strengths and available resources to support change collaboratively.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Learn to identify the difference between problem-focused and solution-focused conversations.

  • Discover the solution conversation cycle.

  • Use the SMART Framework.

  • Keep the conversations focused on SMART solutions.

  • Practice Solution Focused Conversations in different contexts within the school environment using SF questions, case studies, and worksheets.

  • Case studies.
